Producers
Gary Crow and Craig Kelly have made arrangements with Seattle PBS station,
KCTS Television, channel nine, to broadcast this special and are currently
in the shooting stage of this project. We have enlisted the services of
numerous NW rock artists and historians to accurately weave this story.
We plan to have this completed for a November / December time slot.
We have put together an impressive list of
participants that include ; Paul Revere, The Kingsmen, The Wailers, The
Sonics, The Ventures, The Bards, Merrilee Rush, The Frantics, DJ - Pat
O'Day, 'Louie, Louie' producer Jerry Dennon, Kearney Barton, The Frantics,
The Statesmen and many more individuals and artists who are a major part
of this exciting musical history.
In all, we have interviews with over twenty-five
musicians, producers, managers, DJ's and family members who were willing
to share their story with us for this documentary. Because of our
track record in the local music industry, Craig Kelly and Gary Crow were
able to gain the trust of the people that are most important to this story
and material that others have not been able to acquire.
Utilizing a combination of interviews, recordings,
memorabilia, radio air-checks and old performance footage (including some
never seen or heard publicly) we have lined up the right tools to make
a dynamic television presentation that will chronicle this story as never
before.
